Amazing Grass products are just that - AMAZING! I use the Original Greens powder and the Green Superfood Effervescent (Berry) tablets. I use one scoop of the greens powder a day dissolved in a full glass of water, and each afternoon I dissolve one of the effervescent tablets in a water bottle. These make me feel great - healthy, alert, and keep my skin healthy looking and glowing (in fact, any time I get compliments on my skin I ALWAYS refer back to the Amazing Grass products!). I feel great about the ingredients (high quality, all natural - NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS OR FLAVORS - THIS IS AWESOME!!!).Now, about the taste. Maybe I'm weird - seeing as though there are lots of reviews saying the taste is adverse - but I enjoy the taste of the Original Greens powder. The taste is hard to describe, but I do NOT find it grass-like, or dirt-like at all. So far I've only stuck to the berry flavored effervescent tablets (I've been dying to try some others, but haven't had luck with them being in stock on yet), and it is pretty good - it reminds me of raisins for some reason and is lightly sweet - again, no grass-like or dirt-like flavors.If you are looking for greens products to boost general wellness or supplement your diet I cannot recommend these enough!

The good ingredients I think outweigh the bad ingredients. Yes, it does contain dextrose (sugar), stevia (can make your body crave carbs, sugar), fruit juice, sorbitol, and canola oil.You don't necessarily need to dissolve this in water. You could just eat it straight as it resembled and tastes like an extremely tart version of the bottletop cherry flavored candies. No mess, and no powder cleanup if you do it this way, and you don't have to worry about finding the scoop. Also is much cleaner too in the long run and more convenient to carry if you are on the go.Although the tartness and fizziness may be a bit too much for some people.The sugars are the only thing that really worry me about this product. Dextrose is actually better for you than fructose, and there does not appear to be much in here. But it is still sugar.

My husband and I take one tablet a day. It is pleasant tasting rather than using a greens powder in a shake that would taste gross. This product is handy to take in your purse and pop tablet in water and you feel you are getting some great greens and antioxidants. Now my husband will actually drink this and not complain. win-win
